How It Works
A clear plan for helping your child learn at home
- 1
Tell me about your child.
Share your child’s strengths, interests, challenges, and your goals for learning at home. School or teacher feedback is welcome, but never required.
- 2
Find the right starting point.
After reviewing your intake, I may ask you to guide your child through a short skill check. Simple directions help you record what your child can do and where support may help.
- 3
Receive your personalized plan.
Explore your child’s Learning Snapshot and four-week roadmap, with clear goals, ready-to-use teaching scripts, examples, and activities chosen for their needs.
- 4
Practice together. Notice progress.
Follow the teaching steps, share what you notice, and record your child’s progress. Educator feedback helps you know when to keep practicing, offer more support, or take the next step.
Four simple steps for every learning session
Aim for 15–25 minutes, 3–4 times a week—usually 12–16 short sessions over four weeks. Adjust the pace to your child’s needs and your family’s routine.
Understand
Know what your child is learning, why it matters, and what progress can look like.
Teach
Follow a short parent script and a worked example to introduce the skill—no teaching experience needed.
Practice
Try the activity together, then give your child time to practice with less help as they’re ready.
Check
Use a quick question, task, or observation to notice what your child understands, what help they need, and what to practice next.
